The Surface Muscle Layer (SMAS) is an anatomical structure of collagen and elastin fibers that covers the mimic muscles of the face. It is just beneath the subcutaneous fat connective tissue and connects the mimic muscles of the face with the dermis. The SMAS layer is used to support the soft tissues of the face, protecting us from relaxing the skin. In order to obtain an effective skin lifting, it is necessary to act on the collagen fibers in the deep layers of the skin at SMAS level.
HOW DOES IT WORK? ?
The device has 3 nozzles that allow it to impact deeply on the different layers of the skin. The expected result is:
- tightening, lifting and lifting (with 4.5 mm depth)
- removing excess fat deposits and closing deeper pores (3 mm)
- smoothing of surface wrinkles and complete refreshing and clearing of the skin, closing the pores and removing acne (1.5 mm)
The principle of working with a HI-FU apparatus is to act on the skin with micro-focused ultrasound pulses that raise the temperature at the point of action and collagen and elastin fibers shrink and shorten, thus lifting the SMAS layer that supports all the soft tissues of the face.
Focused ultrasound wave passes through the skin and through the subcutaneous-fat connective tissue without damaging them, providing immediate stretching of the facial parts as a surgical intervention.
Thermocoagulation results in thickening of collagen-stretched fibers and provides a lightening of all layers of soft tissue on the face, and after 3-4 months that are required to form a new collagen matrix, the SMAS facelift reaches its maximum.
This procedure is suitable for women and men over 35 years of age.
The duration of the procedure depends on the size of the area may take from 20 minutes to 2 hours.
